Characteristic
Energy storage inverters are connected between mains and critical loads, such as computers, to provide high-quality power to the loads. The energy storage inverter has the following advantages:
l Improve power supply quality
Energy storage inverter through the internal voltage and frequency regulator, so that its output is not affected by the changes in its input power supply.
l Power loss protection
If the input power is cut off, the energy storage inverter is powered by the battery, and the load power supply is not interrupted.
Design idea
1.The energy storage inverter is composed of power input (main and bypass), rectifier /PFC, charger, inverter, bypass, battery, and output modules.
2.When the mains power is normal, the rectifier starts and the charger charges the battery. The output voltage is the by-pass voltage through which the mains power supplies the load.
3.When the mains power is abnormal, the battery voltage is fed into the inverter circuit after being boosted by the rectifier /PFC circuit, and the pure sinusoidal ac is output through the inverter circuit, which is provided to the load through the electronic conversion switch.
4.After the mains power is restored to normal, the energy storage inverter automatically switches back to normal mode from the battery mode, and the mains power supplies the load through the bypass.
Operational mode
Energy storage inverter is an online energy storage inverter system with the following operation modes:
l Normal mode
l Battery Mode
Normal mode
As shown in the figure, when the energy storage inverter works in normal mode, the power required by the load is provided by the mains input directly through the bypass static switch. If the rectifier is normal, the built-in charger charges the battery.
Battery Mode
As shown in the figure, when the mains power fails or the voltage exceeds the range, the rectifier and the built-in charger stop running, and the battery supplies power to the load through the inverter. The running indicator light is on, accompanied by a buzzer warning that the energy storage inverter is in battery mode.
